Ultimate Uluru

Overview

Ultimate Uluru

Your first glimpse of Ayers Rock will literally take your breath away. Rising from the broad desert plain in the deep centre of Australia, it is arguably the country’s most recognisable natural icon. The famous “Rock” stands 348 metres high and, like an iceberg, has most of its bulk below the surface. Its stunning Aboriginal rock art sites can be viewed on guided walks and tours around the base. Forty kilometres to the west of Ayers Rock is Kata Tjuta, also known as The Olgas. The spectacular changing colours of both Ayers Rock and the Olgas at sunrise and sunset are visions not to be missed.

This ruggedly beautiful and culturally significant destination offers a wealth of options for exploring and adventure. See Uluru through the eyes of its traditional Aboriginal owners, the Anangu, by joining a cultural tour and watch the amazing transformation of colours and life as the sun sets with Uluru and Kata Tjuta as your backdrop.

Come and talk to one of our Australia Specialists about how you can weave a stay at Ayers Rock into your ideal holiday down under. Alternatively come and see us about one of our spectacular escorted tours to the region.
