Canada in a few words – Breathtaking scenery, friendly people, and something for everyone. You could be brave and ride the peak to peak gondola at Whistler, the longest un-supported gondola in the world; we even saw a bear roaming far below. Travel on the Rocky Mountaineer and you will be so busy looking out the window at the amazing scenery you won’t have time for the great food they serve. However, my highlight was whale watching off Vancouver Island followed by, back on shore, a traditional British afternoon tea at The Empress in Victoria “1st Class Holidays are experts in providing luxury, tailor-made holidays and have won numerous awards for our service”
