Pestana Miramar Resort shares the grounds with the popular Pestana Village Apart-hotel and is situated on the premises of the historic and elegant Hotel Miramar which was constructed in the 1920’s. The property was completely refurbished in the late 1990’s taking care to retain a pleasantly nostalgic atmosphere resulting in some beautiful architectural touches and leaving many period features which are nicely complemented by the attractive, landscaped gardens.

The indoor and outdoor swimming pools offer a relaxing environment in which to spend lazy days.

All rooms are of a comfortable standard, with classic studios offered in the Pestana Village Apart-hotel. We particularly recommend the Miramar suites which offer a real taste of Funchal’s recent heritage.
