Es Port
Overview
Es Port
Puerto de Soller, Majorca
Star Rating: ****
Situated on the west coast of Mallorca, Puerto de Soller is a small resort facing a beautiful bay, surrounded by a rocky coast.
The hotel, Es Port, is a pleasantly converted 16th century manor house furnished with rustic décor in keeping with Mallorcan characteristics of earlier times and is modest yet comfortable. It is set in a quiet location surrounded by extensive grounds with gardens and terraces, and it is just 200m to the nearest sandy beach.
Es Port is privately owned and managed by the Montis family whose predecessors date back for several decades. Between Puerto de Soller and the village of Soller, there’s a traditional tram service which also connects to the delightful narrow-gauge railway to Palma. Drivers can opt for the road tunnel through the mountains (toll payable) to Puerto de Soller.
