Full Itinerary

Day 1: UK - Corfu

Fly to the Ionian island of Corfu and transfer to the Gouvia Marina where you’ll embark your ship, Hemera. Have dinner on board your ship and spend the night in the marina.

Day 2: Mourtos, Sivota

This morning, cruise south past the green hills of south Corfu as you head to the Sivota Islands. Before mooring in the port enjoy a swim stop in the crystal clear waters of the Blue Lagoon. Then head on to the west-facing village of Mourtos and discover the picturesque tavern-lined promenade, the perfect setting for an evening stroll. Why not end the day with sundowners on the top deck and take in the stunning sunset the region is known for.

Day 3: Parga

After breakfast set sail for Parga on the Greek mainland, often described as the most beautiful village in the Ionian. Situated in a secluded bay, this small town is flanked by white sandy beaches. Boats bob in the coastal waters and brightly coloured houses line the sloping landscape, all overlooked by a 16th-century ruined Venetian castle on the hilltop above. This afternoon join an included walking tour and learn about the history of the area and then the rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps take a stroll through the town’s narrow alleyways and discover small jewellery and craft shops, or immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of the waterfront where cafes and bars spill into the street. This evening, you could take a water taxi to town for a Greek feast and some traditional hospitality.

Day 4: Antipaxos

Continue your voyage to the tiny island of Antipaxos. This almost uninhabited island offers stunning green landscapes, and a serene setting in which to relax. Explore the white beaches and take a dip in the shallow waters as you laze away the afternoon. Dinner tonight is at a pop-up beach tavern in one of the island’s many secluded bays. With little light pollution, this is a perfect location for stargazing, so why not admire the sparkling night sky from the top deck tonight.

Day 5: Gaios, Paxos

Today, sail north to the island of Paxos, where you’ll spend two nights. According to Greek mythology, Poseidon struck Corfu with his trident creating the island of Paxos from the southern tip so he and his wife could have some peace and quiet! Today the island has 2,500 inhabitants, most of whom live in the harbour towns around the coast. This afternoon you’ll moor in Gaios, the island’s capital. Join an included walking tour and learn about the history of olive oil production on the island, then the rest of the day is at leisure. This evening head back into town for fresh seafood, caught by the local fishing boats, at one of the excellent nearby tavernas.

Day 6: Lakka, Paxos

Cruise north today to the small village of Lakka, nestled in a secluded horseshoe-shaped bay on the northern tip of the island. The shallow waters are ideal for snorkelling and diving for those keen to discover the underwater life of the Ionian Sea. The small but vibrant village has a host of bars and authentic tavernas, all sheltered beneath the olive and cypress-covered hills to the south. Enjoy dinner on board the ship and moor here overnight.

Day 7: Corfu

In the morning set sail north, back to Gouvia Marina arriving mid-afternoon. Transfer to the old town with a knowledgeable guide then, having got your bearings, you can enjoy some free time here. Perhaps head to the old Venetian Fortress for a bird’s-eye view of the city, or go hunting for souvenirs in the maze of narrow, cobbled streets. Return to your ship for the Captain’s dinner on board and spend your final night moored in the marina.

Day 8: Corfu - UK

Disembark after breakfast and travel to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
