Full Itinerary

Day 1 - Depart London

Make your way to London Heathrow for your flight to Vietnam.

Day 2 - Arrive Ho Chi Minh (Saigon)

On arrival at the airport, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the day at leisure before a briefing and welcome dinner, before spending two nights at Ho Chi Minh City, Park Hyatt Saigon. Dinner is included.

Day 3 - Ho Chi Minh, Long Tan OR Cu Chi Tunnels

Journey to Ba Ria and learn about the Battle of Long Tan. Afterwards, attend a moving memorial service at the Long Tan Cross. Alternatively, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. This evening, enjoy an exclusive Luke Nguyen-inspired degustation dinner, complete with matching wines at Xu Restaurant. After breakfast, choose from two differing Signature Experiences. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 4 - Ho Chi Minh, My Tho, embark ship

Perhaps enjoy a walking tour of Ho Chi Minh City. Alternatively, tour the Ky Long Art Villa; try out your culinary skills with a cooking class at Luke Nguyen’s cooking studio; or take a shopping tour. Later, transfer to My Tho Port to board your luxury river ship, the AmaLotus where a delicious welcome dinner awaits. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 5 - Cai Be, Sa Dec

A local boat will take you to the town of Cai Be. Step ashore to explore before visiting a local rice paper manufacturer. Enjoy lunch on board as you cruise to the quaint town of Sa Dec. On arrival, tour Huynh Thuy Le’s old house and learn the story behind Marguerite Duras’ best-selling novel, The Lover. Afterwards, visit a traditional Cao Dai temple. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 6 - Tan Chau, border crossing

Travel on a small boat around Tan Chau, stepping ashore for a rickshaw tour. Later, visit a local evergreen island and witness authentic rural Mekong life. The rest of today is spent on board. After entering Cambodia, cruise overnight towards Phnom Penh. Breakfast lunch and dinner included.

Day 7 - Phnom Penh

Perhaps enjoy a tour of the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda; visit the infamous Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum; explore the National Museum of Cambodia; or take a guided city tour in a tuk tuk. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 8 - Phnom Penh, Koh Chen Village

Enjoy time at leisure in Phnom Penh before cruising to remote Koh Chen. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 9 - Prek K'dam, Oudong, Kampong Tralach

Disembark in Prek K’dam and travel to Oudong for a tour. Continue to Kampong Tralach for a visit to Wat Kampong Tralach Pleu before an exciting ox-cart ride. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 10 - Kampong Chhnang

Enjoy an authentic small-boat excursion into the wetlands near Kampong Chhnang. Return to your ship for a farewell dinner. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 11 - Prek K'dam, disembark ship, Siem Reap

Disembark your ship in Prek K’dam before transferring by coach to Siem Reap. After settling into your hotel, head to Angkor Archaeological Park. Visit Angkor Thom to see the 12th-century Bayon temple. Explore the choice of resturants in the fascinating city of Siem Reap tonight and dine at your leisure. Breakfast and dinner included.

Day 12 - Siem Reap

Rise early this morning and travel to the Angkor complex for a special sunrise experience at Angkor Wat with a drink in hand. Today, enjoy a guided tour of this impressive temple. Return to your hotel for breakfast and some time at leisure, before exploring the temple of Ta Prohm and visiting the Opportunities of Development thru Art (ODA); a Siem Reap organisation that provides education opportunities for disadvantaged children. Breakfast included

Day 13 - Siem Reap

Embark on your selected sightseeing activity. Tonight, enjoy an Apsara dance performance and a farewell dinner. Breakfast and dinner included.

Day 14 - Depart Siem Reap

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to the UK. Breakfast included.
