I came into the travel industry straight from school and I haven't looked back since. Over the past ten years I have worked my way up from Apprentice, where I achieved my NVQ level 2 & 3, to Travel Specialist and most recently, Branch Manager!
It is safe to say I really do love everything about travel and throughout my time in the industry I have worked for a large multiple before making the move to Miles Morgan Travel, an independent agency. I can honestly say that it is much more rewarding in an independent agent as I have the freedom to put together exactly what my customer requires. My biggest passion is tailoring self-drive routes for destinations such as America, Australia and New Zealand because they are all so unique.
For my own holidays, I have to admit to having a soft spot for America. I have been lucky enough to travel out to Florida fourteen times and have already got another trip booked to visit this year with a side trip to San Diego! I have also paid a couple of visits to New York, which has proven to be one of my favourite destinations because of the almost limitless number of things to do in any season, as well as the atmosphere of the city itself.
As well as the USA, I have spent time visiting places further afield such as Mauritius, Australia and New Zealand. Closer to home I've enjoyed Cyprus, Austria and Spain and her islands. Trips to Italy have shown me the splendours of the Italian Lakes in Como and the history of Milan, whilst a city break in Paris allowed me to see the iconic Eiffel Tower. Although I love to travel myself, I also get great pleasure in using my experiences to arrange the perfect trip for my clients. I look forward to helping you with your plans soon.

We have been customers of your organisation for many years dealing with Meg Gardiner at the Malmesbury branch. I know your adverts extol the virtues of your "friendly expert teams" but I would like to put on record just how true this is. Having spent a great deal of time and money organising the "trip of a lifetime" for the whole of my family, excitement levels were off the scale when we all set off for Florida. On arrival at the villa things went downhill rapidly!! We tried to resolve the situation (will not bore you with the details) with the staff on the ground. Basically, we were getting nowhere!! I emailed Meg back in the UK and as soon as the office opened she contacted us with reassurance and support. Things started to happen almost immediately (time difference allowing) and the situation was fully resolved. Without the support of Meg and your organisation our holiday would have been totally ruined. Thank you for your commitment to the industry and the true meaning of customer service, and proving that you really do provide Peace of Mind. Regards

Just wanted to send my usual 'thank you' mail!!!! As ever our latest trip went very smoothly, thanks in a large part for all your effort. I know we had some 'hiccups' regarding the flights, due to Singapore changing their fleet- but as usual you sorted all that & we all appreciated the overnight accommodation at Heathrow which you were able to arrange plus the vouchers & transit hotel in Singapore. Things do go wrong and I think it is always how they are resolved which matters- you are a wonder at how good you are at that !!!! The flights and the transfers to & from were so smooth, even when our flight to Perth was delayed & despite the driver not being able to get any info, he was still waiting when we arrived 2 1/2hrs later, very hot & bothered. Long mail, Meg really just to say a huge thank you, have said it before but we would never travel anywhere abroad that you had not booked!!!
It's some years since I have used a travel agent, and I was really delighted with the service I received from Miles Morgan in Malmesbury, and in particular from the manager Meg Gardiner. We had what felt, for our family of five, complicated requirements for a two-week holiday travelling down the west coast of America, and sorting that out ourselves was daunting. But within just a couple of hours of visiting the branch, Meg had developed a brilliant itinerary, sourcing flights and some great hotels, and we barely had to make a tweak. She was also very helpful when I had trouble with online booking before we flew, and when we got back - having been disappointed with our car hire experience - she was a relentless in pursing the company and getting some compensation. The service we received was excellent, extremely good value for money, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Miles Morgan (and, of course, Meg!)
Hi Meg, Just had to send a quick mail, over our last two trips you have been amazing & both holidays ( especially Antigua) were brilliant. However this morning you excelled yourself!!!! Having heard that Richard's brother had died is hard enough but to then have to arrange the travel to the other side of the world complicates things! But you made it so much easier,you were so speedy & efficient - within hours of our first enquiry we had tickets,seat reservation,visa & currency. Thank you so so much. Thank you for getting in touch. You beat me to the punch - I was going to drop you a line. We had a fabulous weekend in every way. My wife was surprised and bowled over by the whole experience. It was flawless from start to finish. Your recommendation of hotel in both Bruxelles and Bruges was first class. They were excellent, and attentive to our every need. They made excellent recommendations for dining out, and made the occasion special for both of us. Kirker were outstanding. They made sure that the little touches were thought of to make the trip a lifetime memory. Chocolates, wine and a note on arrival in Bruxelles, flowers and another note in Bruges put the top hat on what was already special. I will be writing to Kirker to single out Giles in their Belgian office. Although we did not meet him, he made the effort to make my wife feel special, and ensure the hotels were aware of the occasion too. The transfers went like clockwork too - which is not always the case! Overall, we had that "once in a lifetime experience", so thank you for putting the programme together, and for using Kirker. Please make sure that your bosses see this. You deserve recognition for helping me to put together a special event to mark our 30th anniversary. I can't thank you enough. Feel free to share this with Kirker too, although I will contact them direct as well. Heartfelt thanks from both of us for giving us weekend to remember in a wonderful city.
We have just returned from our trip up Kilimanjaro (Caroline Bayliss and Gill Shaxton) and would like to share our experience with you. Right from start to end you have provided us with an excellent service from initial enquiry, booking dates before they were released, keeping us informed of information such as visa requirements, notifying us of the minor changes to flights and booking our kit. Exodus and the African Walking Company fully supported us with fully trained and experienced guides who supported us towards our goal of reaching the top of Kilimanjaro whilst ensuring our safety. Every day they checked we were not suffering from altitude sickness. They advised on what to wear and carry with us each day to ensure we carried only what we needed whilst being prepared for changes in the weather - freezing at night and early morning whilst incredibly hot during the day. The food was excellent and provided us with the nourishment we needed - I don't think I've eaten so healthily in years. Considering all food had to be carried up to camp by the porters and then prepared in a small camp kitchen it was quite amazing. We can highly recommend the Lemosho route, it is hard however the two extra days provide the additional time to acclimatise which increases the chances of success. We walked through different climatic zones including the rainforest where we saw monkeys. The final ascent was really hard, we walked/climbed from midnight with freezing winds and challenging landscape. We were rewarded at the top not only with a sense of achievement but with staggering views of the glaciers. The weather was kind to us, we had no rain or snow whilst walking and are told that the Artic winds we experienced can be much worse. Overall we would recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys a real physical challenge though must stress it was hard. The level of service we received from everyone involved was fantastic, in fact the group we were with was so impressed with the support from the African Walking Company that we all gave a tip that was higher than the suggested amount. I would make a final comment that all the information we received was detailed and set us up for a successful trip. There was however one sentence that said if we had any clothes or equipment we did not need at the end of our climb the guides and porters would gladly receive it. Whilst this is true it is fair to say that the guides and porters actually need clothes and equipment and, with hindsight, I would have taken some additional items to donate. Thank-you again for all your help in organising a fantastic trip that resulted in both of us climbing to the top of Africa.

We just wanted to send you an email to thank you for helping make our honeymoon so memorable. With the flights being so long, sitting next to each other with a window and aisle seat was invaluable. The travel company we worked with locally made us feel very welcome and safe with trips and activities and our room at the hotel was beautiful. Thanks again, I'm sure we'll be in touch before long!

Dear Meg & Caroline, Deana and myself have just returned from 5 days in New York, staying at the Westin off Times Square - we took Meg's advice as she had said what a great hotel it was - Our whole trip, flight's by Virgin transfers to hotel the Hotel everything was FANTASTIC - and we thank you girls for all your input it was truly above and beyond our expectations - prior to going we booked a Harbour Lights Cruise & the Helicopter flight - all of which was "spot on" - the holiday flew by - we had a blast and all thanks to you at Miles Morgan - Deana & I thank you for making our "special" holiday one that we will ALWAYS remember. And your excellent work made everything perfect.

We have now returned from our holiday and wanted to thank you for your hard work in booking everything for us which went like clockwork.
All transfers to and from the airport/hotels were waiting for us, even in Christchuch where the poor man had been waiting over an hour for us to come through customs. Singapore was fantasic and the hotel you booked us into was excellent, a short walk to Clarke Quay which was a lovey area, lots going on. Brisbane was great, you booked us into a hotel not far from the airport for one night and the following day we collected the hire car you booked in advance. We then went to stayed with friends who live about an hour from Brisbane for a few days, it was lovely catching up with them, we had a couple of heavy storms while we were there but they were over very quickly. On to New Zealand which really was the highlight, such a beautiful Country. The tour you booked for us was Ultimate New Zealand which was operated by Grand Pacific Tours, a coach big enough for 52 seats but converted to take only 20 first class seats, one each side of the isle, there were only 15 people on the tour so everyone could move around quite comfortably. We toured both South and North Islands with lots stops and 4* hotels everything evening. The driver/courier was very knowledgable, helpful, nothing was too much trouble, we would certainly recommend touring New Zealand this way. Our last stop on the way home was 4 nights in Dubia, superb hotel where we just chilled out.
