The Emerald Princess

Launched in 2007, Emerald Princess is one of the largest ships in the Princess fleet. She offers nearly 900 balcony staterooms from which to take in the colorful sunrise over the ocean, or capture a breathtaking sunset sail-in to a romantic city like Venice. I went onboard the Emerald Princess in June 2008. This ship was just what I expected a cruise to be like, glamorous, lots of different places to eat, loads of activities to choose from and lots of space to chill out in the sun!

The Emerald Princess is one of the largest within the Princess fleet. The ship can hold up to 3080 passengers. There is lots of public space onboard though so it never felt over crowded at all. There are plenty of sun loungers on the top deck too. If you feel like treating yourself though I would definitely recommend paying to use The Sanctuary. This is an outdoor spa area on the uppermost forward deck. It's only $10 a day and it's a real treat. It's an adult only part of the ship were you can just relax and enjoy the views.
