Skiing In Banff

The Canadian resort of Banff has something for everyone. The skiing is perfect for all levels and snowboarders. If you are brave enough you can even have a go at Heli-Skiing! If you prefer a more relaxed break there are activities for all ages including dog sledding, sleigh rides, ice fishing, shopping and a visit to the Banff Hot Springs. I stayed at the cosy and quaint Caribou Lodge. The hotel is ideally located close to the centre of Banff which comes alive at night with an abundance of bars and upmarket restaurants. There is a free shuttle bus into Banff. After a hard days skiing you can relax at the hotels hot tub or have a drink in the bar. Of course Banff is just as beautful during the summer months with excellend walking and even the chance of spotting grizzly bears and elk wandering along the road. I would recommend anyone looking for a bit of a different holiday to try Banff. I had a fantastic trip and cannot wait to explore the rest that Canada has to offer.
