The TUI BLUE Kalamota Island ticks off good looks, impeccable service and easy access to Dubrovnik via boat.

This place is the only hotel on a peaceful, traffic-free island. It’s surrounded by palms and olive groves, and looks across the Adriatic. Dubrovnik’s a 25-minute boat ride away – public boats depart four times a day.

The hotel has a pool on a smart sea-view terrace. There's a beach out the front, plus a restaurant that makes the most of the bay views. Just so you know, there are lots of steps throughout the whole property.

The pool here is flanked by stylish sunloungers with views over the sea. You'll also get sea views from the restaurant, which comes with floor-to-ceiling windows and an al fresco terrace. As for evenings, you'll find a laid-back outdoor lounge with daybeds and sofas to relax on.

Food & Drink

The hotel’s Italian à la carte, is worth writing home about. It’s set in a 1920s villa on the seafront, and has an atmospheric patio for al fresco dining.A buffet restaurant comes with floor-to-ceiling windows and a big outdoor terrace. - 4 Elements Beach Lounge The 4 Elements Beach Lounge is divided into two sections. The Water & Earth Lounge is located between the Villas and the Main Building and has a lively atmosphere. The Air & Fire Lounge is situated above the Water & Earth Lounge, and is surrounded by Cabana-style day beds. A variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available here. - The Restaurant With a sleek and modern atmosphere, the restaurant offers a varied buffet at mealtimes. Here, you’ll find show-cooking and carving stations. There are also two themed evenings a week. There's an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining. - The Bar Opening Times: [12.00-23.00] Here you'll find offerings ranging from the original mojito to virgin mojitos, or English and Mexican versions of the drink. The bar also offers a variety of local and international beverages. - Pool snack and bar Opening Times: [11.00-17.00] This poolside bar serves snacks and drinks every day. - Culinarium - à la carte restaurant Opening Times: [19.00-22.00] Our signature à la carte restaurant, the Culinarium, serves up Italian and traditional local cuisine. You can watch the sun set over the Elaphiti Islands from the terrace here. Please note that bookings are required to dine here and one dinner is included per stay. - Al Fresco dining Al fresco dining is available at the buffet restaurant and Cullinarium. - Restaurant dress code There is a dress code for the restaurants. Men should wear full-length trousers when dining, but leave the swimwear, flip-flops and sports vests in your room.

Entertainment

The al fresco lounge area will feature stylish Bali beds and mood lighting as well as a lengthy cocktail menu. Local musicians will provide a little live music too. - Live music There's live music 5 days a week. - Gourmet courses The hotel offers the likes of wine tastings, cocktail masterclasses and cooking courses three times a week.
