Full Itinerary

Day 1: London - Lima

Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® transports you from your front door to London Heathrow Airport in time for a scheduled TAM Airlines flight to Sao Paulo and connecting flight to Lima.

Day 2: Lima

We arrive this morning in Lima and transfer to the Hotel Estelar, Casa Andina Select or Jose Antonio Hotel for two nights. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3: Lima

This morning we take a tour of Lima, founded in 1535 by Spanish conquistadors.

Day 4: Lima Sacred Valley

We transfer to Lima Airport for our flight to Cuzco, the capital of Incan civilisation. We travel to Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo fortress, and village of Pisac. We stay at the Sonesta Posadas del Inca Yucay for two nights.

Day 5: Machu Picchu

One of the highlights is the legendary Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Every aspect of our full day excursion is memorable, from the Orient Express-operated train that winds its way up the Sacred Valley to the breathtaking first sight of this legendary mountaintop city and the fascination of exploring its atmospheric ruins with a knowledgeable guide. We return into the Sacred Valley.

Day 6: Sacred Valley - Sacsayhuamam

We visit the Inca fortress at Sacsayhuaman offering a wonderful, panoramic vantage point on Cuzco. We continue to our hotel, the Eco Inn.

Day 7: Cuzco - Santiago

We visit the Inca fortress at Sacsayhuaman offering a wonderful, panoramic vantage point on Cuzco. We continue to our hotel, the Eco Inn.

Day 8: Santiago

This morning we take a tour of the National Museum, Santiago’s historic centre, the bohemian Bellavista district and San Cristobal Hill, presenting superb city and mountain views. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 9: Santiago (Valparaiso - Vina del Mar)

A full day excursion north of Santiago introduces two contrasting cities. Valparaiso is Chile’s main port city, built over 42 hills. The historic quarter is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Vina del Mar could scarcely be more different - a popular, yet peaceful summer resort noted for its fine beaches, parks and gardens. En route back to Santiago, we stop at an award-winning winery for a brief tour including tasting.

Day 10: Santiago - Puerto Varas

Today we fly to Puerto Montt, gateway to the Chilean Lake District founded by German colonists in 1852. We make a short tour of the city, then continue to the town of Puerto Varas, overlooking Lake Llanquihue, the fourth largest in Latin America. We stay at the Cabanos del Lago.

Day 11: Puerto Varas - San Carlos de Bariloche

A truly stunning adventure today as we travel through the Andes into Argentina and the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. We stay two nights at the Hotel Edelweiss.

Day 12: San Carlos de Bariloche

Your morning is free to explore San Carlos de Bariloche which, thanks to the influence of Swiss, Austrian and German settlers, somewhat resembles a European alpine resort. Then, in the afternoon, we take a scenic tour of the region, stopping at the foot of the Campanario Mountain, the Llao Llao peninsula and the Angostura River.

Day 13: San Carlos de Bariloche - Buenos Aires

After a second morning to enjoy Bariloche, we board our flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, we transfer to the Pulitzer Hotel, our base for three nights.

Day 14: Buenos Aires

Our morning tour explores the city known as the ‘Paris of the South’, located on the shores of the River Plate. Later we return to our hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure. This evening you may wish to join an optional Tango show; watch a performance of this passionate dancing style, together with an Argentinean dinner.

Day 15: Buenos Aires

Today is free for you to explore Buenos Aires further.

Day 16: Iguazu Falls

A further flight takes us to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Iguazu Falls, a series of 275 distinct waterfalls on the Iguazu River, which forms a stunning natural border between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. We view them from the Argentinean side today, presenting an awe-inspiring aspect of thunderous cascades, before crossing into Brazil. The Hotel Bourbon Cataratas hosts us for two nights.

Day 17: Iguazu Falls

A further day in the environs of Iguazu Falls, this time on the Brazilian side, where carefully-constructed walkways and viewing points yield breathtaking panoramic vistas.

Day 18: Iguazu Falls - Rio de Janeiro

A further flight delivers us to Rio de Janeiro (possibly indirect). Upon arrival, we transfer to the Windsor Excelsior for three nights.

Day 19: Rio De Janeiro

Our full-day tour includes the summit of Corcovado Mountain, appreciating far-reaching views from virtually the same perspective as the iconic Statue of Christ the Redeemer, set in an eternal, open-armed embrace of the city. We also ascend the equally iconic Sugarloaf Mountain by cable car for more outstanding city views.

Day 20: Rio De Janeiro

Free day to relax and reflect on a wonderful journey. We include a farewell dinner at a popular churrascaria restaurant this evening.

Day 21: Rio De Janeiro - London

Enjoy a few hours at leisure, before we transfer to the airport for a scheduled, overnight TAM Airlines flight to London via Sao Paulo.

Upon arrival at London Heathrow Airport our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan Transport for the return journey home to your own front door.
