All about Mollie

I’m really excited to have joined Miles Morgan Travel’s Chippenham branch. Since completing my Level 3 Travel and Tourism in college I’ve been eager to get started in the travel industry and my passion for travel is stronger than it’s ever been. I began my career in the customer service sector, so ensuring customers receive the highest quality experience has always something I strive to achieve. To combine this with the travel world is a dream come true! I’m already loving my role as a Travel Specialist, and I look forward to continuing helping customers make amazing memories.

One of my favourite destinations is the Amalfi Coast, in the south of Italy. From Amalfi itself to the sweet little town of Capri, I’ve never been anywhere so picturesque in my life: it’s such a stunning coastline, with plenty to do and see. In Capri, those feeling brave can get the single-seated chairlift that takes its passenger soaring up the cliff-face, 1950m above sea level! There’s a gorgeous restaurant at the top with panoramic views of the island, a perfect reward for the ride. I stayed in Naples throughout my trip, a bustling city rich in culture, and took boat rides across for day trips to the Amalfi Coast, which was a great way to explore the area on a budget. I’d also recommend staying in Sorrento, a town with the charming Italian atmosphere and only a 20-minute boat ride from Positano and Capri, while tending to hold a better price than resorts on the Amalfi Coast. Either way, it’s a stunning corner of the world just a short flight away, that I’d recommend to anybody!

Recently, I spent three months in the French Alps during the winter season, skiing the Portes du Soleil ski area every day. I stayed in an apartment in Morzine, an area of breathtaking lakes and mountains, amazing restaurants serving traditional French cuisine and a multitude of bars with fabulous après-ski. Morzine is also a perfect location to access the stunning resorts of Avoriaz and Les Gets: my favourite pastime beyond skiing was to take the short bus ride to Les Gets and visit the Les Sources du Chéry Spa, a lovely treat and the perfect place to unwind. There’s also an ice-rink where visitors can either ice-skate or watch the local team play ice-hockey, which I’d definitely recommend for the lively atmosphere! My time there will be treasured forever, and I’d love to go back.

There are so many places I still want to visit, but my dream holiday destination would definitely be Australia. I have family living in Sydney and I’ve always wanted to visit them: plus, the Gold Coast and its islands are at the top of my bucket list. I hope to get there someday soon!
