All about Hanna

Having spent 17 years in the travel industry, covering both leisure and business travel, I’m delighted to have joined the Miles Morgan Travel team in Devizes. I’ve always enjoyed working for an independent agency, relishing the camaraderie of a company that all work collectively to ensure that both customers and staff are happy! Ever since I can remember I’ve been fascinated with different countries’ cultures, and I’ve always had a deep longing to explore the world, so pursuing a career in the travel industry was inevitable. After leaving school I started as a trainee for an agency in Marlborough, and I’ve never looked back.

I’ve travelled to some wonderful destinations across the world and cherish so many unforgettable experiences. To name a few: bustling through the hot bazaars of Marrakesh before winding down in the majestic, starry silence of the Sahara desert; drinking Caipirinhas in the samba clubs of Rio De Janeiro and soaking up the electric atmosphere of the Tropicana Club in Havana. I’ve travelled through the magnificent Canadian Rockies, stood awestruck at the peace and serenity of the temples in Mumbai and taken to the Alpine slopes for some fantastic skiing holidays. I’ve been dune-bashing in Dubai, chased the Northern Lights across Iceland and island-hopped around Greece. I really love to immerse myself in everything that a destination has to offer: the culture, the customs, the cuisine. Travelling creates the fondest of life’s memories, and I feel so lucky to have so many.

Since starting a family, we’ve preferred to travel a bit closer to home and have enjoyed all the beauty that the Mediterranean has to offer. The Greek islands are a particular favourite of mine: the beaches and sparkling ocean views are stunning, and there are an abundance of historical sites, picturesque villages and small fishing harbours. Not to mention, of course, the fabulous Greek dishes, and the bonus of the short flight! It’s a fantastic and diverse destination, that I’d highly recommend.
