All about Shelly

I’m extremely excited and grateful to be a Travel Specialist for Miles Morgan Travel. Serving customers and meeting new people are my absolute passions in life; I’ve always worked in customer service roles and have been involved in hospitality for many years. Turning my hand to this industry is incredibly exciting, as I’ve always adored travelling, exploring new places and making unforgettable memories across the globe. Building rapports with customers every day and sharing those experiences to help them on their next adventure is an absolute joy.

I’m lucky enough to have travelled extensively, sampling many different types of holiday. A highlight for me will always be Florida: I’ve been many times, unable to resist visiting the Disney Parks and Universal Studios. There are so many attractions that it’s impossible to fit everything into one visit! It’s a magical holiday for all the family, children and adults alike, and though Disney used to be designed for rollercoaster fans, there are now endless rides, experiences or attractions for those looking for something else: from 4D cinemas to studio walkthroughs. I’ve made many treasured memories there and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

I’m also very fond of the beautiful Cancún. No picture can capture its beauty: I can still visualise the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean Sea, and the soft white sands of the beaches. For those searching for an active holiday, it’s perfect. The shopping, dining and nightlife scenes are spectacular, the water-sports opportunities are endless, and of course Xel-Há, a heavenly ecological park, is a vital day-trip. Situated across beautiful bays, with underground rivers, caves, lagoons, a private jungle and even a lighthouse, complete with 30m waterslide, it’s best described as a natural outdoor aquarium, crossed with a huge water park. Swim and snorkel alongside fish in their natural habitat, laze in the lagoon, cycle through the gorgeous jungle, and enjoy the thrill of the slides, zipwires, and high ropes: Xel-Há offers a jam-packed day of beauty and adventure.

Closer to home, I’ll never tire of Greece or the Greek Islands. The soft-sand beaches, the beautiful blue sky and ocean, the wonderful people and the delicious cuisine make for a guaranteed beach break in paradise. I have every intention of visiting more of the islands, on many more idyllic getaways!

Of course, I still have my travel ambitions: I’d love to visit so many places, but India has always been at the top of my list, followed closely by the beautiful Maldives.
