This place is parked up next to one of Sharm El Sheikh’s sandy beaches, and you can jump into the sparkly water from the hotel’s own floating jetty. It’s in the middle of a sheltered bay, too, which means the sea’s calm and shallow – ideal for snorkellers.

When you’re not swimming in the sea, you can chill out by the main pool – a roomy number edged by palms. Little ones get their own swimming spot, too, as well as a playground and a kids’ club. As for grown-up activities, there’s the spa, tennis courts, and a whole host of watersports on offer.

There are two restaurants here – an international place with waterside views, and an á la carte restaurant serving seafood and Mediterranean fare. On top of that, there are four bars – a lobby bar, a pool bar, a beach bar and a disco place.

The main pool’s shaped like a lake and is edged with sunloungers and palm trees. Kids get their own pool to splash around in, too.

The hotel’s got its own watersports* centre, so diving, sailing and windsurfing are all possibilities.
