Sandwiched between the American and Canadian border is the wonder that is Niagara Falls. My top tip: stay in a hotel overlooking the Falls and combine your stay with Toronto, just a short drive away. For details of some great itineraries please give me a call.

I don't have a favourite destination or holiday type. I have enjoyed all my holidays, from beaches in the Caribbean, skiing in sub zero temperatures in Canada and my most recent trips to Thailand and Vietnam. I love the madness of New York, the fun of Florida theme parks and warm lazy evening in a Greek taverna.

I visited Western Canada in the month of June, which was a perfect time to travel. My first stop was Calgary. This is a really friendly, vibrant city, with plenty of restaurants to eat at and is great for some up market shopping. Onwards to Banff where I experienced heli-hiking - Wow!! Staying in a unique Mountain Lodge in the heart of the Rockies, and being transported by helicopter to do some guided walks was just breathtaking and an experience I will never forget. On to Lake Louise - staying at the well-known Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, which is every bit as beautiful as it looks in the brochures, a definite must see on your Rockies itinerary. My whole experience from the scenery, the people, the hotels and service was first class - Definitely one of my favorite places!

Toronto is such a clean, diverse city with so many different cultures and attractions. A meal at the top of the CN Tower is a must in the rooftop revolving restaurant. Niagara Falls has got to be seen by both helicopter and on the Maid of the Mist boat trip. I've done both, so call me to chat about your preferences.
