This hotel's bagged a spot in one of the Etihad Towers. These five glass-covered skyscrapers are a 10-minute drive from the Qasr al Watan – the whitewashed presidential palace.

You’ve got free rein of the hotel’s private beach, which you’ll find a few feet away from a trio of pools. There are plenty of options when your stomach starts to rumble, too – this place lines up Lebanese and Italian cuisine.

Conrad Hotel Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers offers a Dine Around Concept, allowing guests on a Half Board or Full Board basis to enjoy breakfast at Rosewater and lunch at Nahaam or a set menu at Sole, before tucking into dinner at Rosewater or a set menu at Nahaam, Sole or Li Beirut. Sushi Samba and Ray's Grill aren't included in the Dine Around Concept – but you can receive a meal credit of AED 100 per adult towards the à la carte menu.

• Nahaam* – Laid back lunches and light bites are on the cards at this casual poolside dining restaurant and lounge, serving up the classics like burgers, pizzas and sandwiches here.
• Ray's Bar* – You'll find this bar on the 62nd floor, with signature cocktails and city views on the cards.
• Lobby Lounge* – Afternoon tea and cakes are the specialities here.
• Pool bar* – The go-to place for a glass of wine, produced in France.
