Cruising is Booming

Silversea suiteThere is no doubt that cruise is the shining light of the travel industry at the moment, with new ships, major refurbishments and exciting new itineraries for our customers to experience. Cruise in all its guises is booming.

New Cruise Ships

There isn’t enough room here to mention all the new ship arrivals coming in the next few months and years, there are that many. P&O Cruises launch a huge new ship on the market in 2020 and Cunard will launch theirs in 2022. There are also ships from Saga and Silversea on the horizon. Exciting Itineraries

Parrot in the AmazonAs for itineraries, many more exploration cruises are being offered these days and cruise ships are even venturing up rivers. There seems to be no end of places to see and choices to make, from the Arabian Gulf to Antarctica to the Amazon.

A Great Time for Cruise Offers

The incredible increase in capacity obviously requires filling and that makes it a great time to be a cruise customer. Increasing competition always means pricing getting keener. Cruise lines are also offering incentives like drinks packages and on board credit to entice you to book with them. We have sourced a lot of these here, this is only a tiny selection of what we can offer you.

Which Cruise Line?

As an independent agent, we sell every cruise line and every itinerary available. Most importantly, we have a cruise specialist in every shop who can provide the expert advice you need to ensure you are on the right ship with the right itinerary for your needs. I highlight this service because cruise ships are all very different. Some focus on families, others on couples; some big, some small, they all celebrate their differences, so we are always committed to finding the right one for you.

"Cruise ships over the past decade have gone from strength-to-strength and there's nowhere this can be seen more than with a cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines. Its newest ship the Norwegian Bliss, expected in 2018, will hold over 4,000 passengers and include an aqua-park, two multi-storey water-slides and Tony Award-winning musical 'Jersey Boys'. Top this off with the largest go-karting track at sea and you have a ship for all the family."

"MSC Cruises is a family-owned company with a seafaring history that spans over three centuries. It’s a passion you can sense from the moment you step on board, from the expertise of the crew to the elegant and innovative design of the ships. Their cruises visit some beautiful destinations across the world."

"Cruising is one of my true passions, and I have been lucky enough to sail out of many different ports worldwide visiting many exciting exotic destinations. Having recently enjoyed a cruise with Silversea, I know first hand what a treat they are. Their intimate luxury ships offer a truly all inclusive experience and they create a relaxed, close-knit camaraderie among the guests. Their attention to detail is faultless, and I would love to share my experience with you, so feel free to contact me today."

"Join us on an exclusive, fully escorted cruise for 2018 and we will ensure you have both an enriching and relaxing travel experience. At no extra charge, we can provide a return coach to the port from any town where there is a Miles Morgan Travel shop. French River Cruising to Bordeaux delivers stunning daytime scenic cruising as the Braemar Cruise ship takes you closer to historic, culture-rich cities via beautiful French rivers."

"Recently I had the pleasure of experiencing one of the Viking ocean ships first hand and have to say I was very impressed. One of my favourite features was the Spa and Pool areas; with a retractable roof on their main pool, even in the coldest climate you can still enjoy a dip. Everything you need is included in the price; from the wine, beer and soft drinks with lunch and dinner and even a selection of shore excursions. If you want to learn more, please take a look at my blog on our website or give me a call."

"The Cunard ships are as much of an attraction as some of the destinations they travel to. Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth have been a familiar sight on the seas and we have the pleasure of offering a range of inspiring cruises you'll never forget."

"Princess is the only cruise line to have been awarded a Reader Recommended endorsement from Good Housekeeping for its on board food and dining experience two years running. Having had the pleasure of being on a Princess Cruise ship, I can recommend the regional dishes - made with fresh local ingredients; as well as speciality restaurants like the 'Crown Grill' and 'Share by Curtis Stone'. Princess also offer lots of family-friendly activities, including Stargazing at Sea and Animal Planet shore excursions."

"There's never been so many amazing cruise destinations available and with this comes the exciting opportunity to visit new up-and-coming places, like Alaska. Alaska's stunning scenery and wondrous wildlife is a true sight to behold. Whether you're an avid explorer or someone who prefers to take a step back and take in the natural wonders around them, an Alaskan cruise is for you! With so many interesting new ports to explore, if you've tried many European cruises, I'd highly recommend trying a cruise to Alaska next."

Whether it's your first cruise or twenty-first cruise, the undeniable beauty showcased by the Norwegian fjords is not to be missed. Leaving you with breath-taking memories, I'd highly recommend a cruise to the Norwegian fjords at least once in your lifetime."

Having travelled with P&O Cruises a number of times, I can honestly say their ships are ideal for UK travellers and have a of number of options to suit all tastes. "The winter months in Norway are something truly special and adventure is most definitely in the air above the Arctic Circle. Having experienced a Hurtigruten voyage myself, I can thoroughly recommend all of the cruises they offer. The Classic Round Voyage, for example, is packed with an itinerary of 34 ports and spends seven days in the auroral zone, giving you more opportunities to witness the magnificent Northern Lights!"

"Having cruised many times with Fred. Olsen, I am always confident in recommending their cruises to our customers. In our featured cruise, 'Amazon River Adventure', you can experience an exhilarating exploration of the Amazon. This cruise offers the opportunity to enjoy some of the most beautiful and once-in-a-lifetime experiences in South America."

"It's becoming an increasingly exciting time to consider cruising. With so many ships now on offer there really is something for everyone. From the more traditional Mediterranean and Baltic cruises, where you can admire the beautiful and traditional European cities, to the more daring cruises where excursions can include anything from relaxing in natural hot springs to kayaking in the freezing waters of the Antarctic, even hiking an active volcano can be on your chosen itinerary. With a new place to discover every day or two, trust me when I say a cruise can make for a truly unforgettable holiday."

"Some of the best food I've ever had the pleasure to taste has been on board cruise ships. Whether it's luxury á la carte cuisine or a more informal buffet style dining experience you're looking for, there's a cruise ship for you. From innovative and bespoke menu options to locally sourced ingredients, even your favourite cereal, one thing you won't have to worry about on board a cruise ship is the food!"

"As a main agent for Cruise and Maritime Voyages, we have many customers who return year after year to their ships. Their reputation has been built on great prices, great food and great service. Having experienced it all first hand, I can thoroughly recommend them. They offer great value for money, especially with their half price or even free second person rates, and all with the added convenience of sailing directly from Bristol and Cardiff."
