All about Alexa

With over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, travel has always been my passion as well as my career.

After studying Travel and Tourism at college, I started my journey as a trainee travel consultant at 18. A few years later, I took the opportunity to travel independently through Thailand, Australia and New Zealand, with stops in Hawaii and Los Angeles along the way. One of my favourite memories was living and working in Sydney, crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge every day and having the iconic Opera House on my doorstep.

Back in the UK, I returned to travel and worked my way up from Travel Consultant to Assistant Manager and then Branch Manager. Along the way, I enjoyed more incredible adventures, including volunteering at an animal orphanage in Namibia, where I helped care for cheetahs, lions, baboons, wild dogs and many other animals.

After a short break from the industry in 2021, I returned to what I love most and joined Spear Travels, where I have been for the past three years. I am now excited to become a part of Miles Morgan Travel.

I love helping customers find their perfect holiday, whether it's a round-the-world trip, cruise, beach escape, city break or family adventure. There's nothing more rewarding than hearing about the amazing memories my customers have made.

My travels have taken me to destinations across Europe, Africa, North America, the Caribbean and Australasia, and my dream destination is Mauritius.

When I'm not planning holidays, I'm busy being a wife and a mum, our most recent addition is our baby boy Finn who is 8 months old. Mum to Diesel, our Fox Red Labrador, and our three cats too.
