All about Michelle

I began my career in the travel industry at the age of 18 after completing a Travel and Tourism course as part of my A-level studies. More than 22 years later, I am still passionate about the industry and continue to enjoy the variety and opportunities it offers every day.

Throughout my career, I have worked for both a Canadian specialist tour operator and an independent travel agency, spending the last 17 years in my current role. During this time, I have built extensive knowledge across a wide range of destinations and travel products.

One of the things I love most about working in travel is that no two days are ever the same. The industry is constantly evolving, and there is always something new to learn about different destinations and cultures.

I have been fortunate to visit many incredible destinations through both personal holidays and educational familiarisation trips. Some of my travel highlights include a memorable stay on a ranch in Arizona, where I enjoyed western-style horseback riding; travelling aboard the Rocky Mountaineer through the spectacular scenery of Canada; visiting the magnificent Petra and floating in the Dead Sea in Jordan; and a recent trip to Switzerland to spend time with family and enjoy its stunning mountain landscapes.

In addition to land-based travel, I have experienced both ocean and river cruising, sailing with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines and Uniworld on a luxury river cruise, giving me valuable first-hand knowledge of different cruise experiences.

With over two decades of experience and a genuine passion for travel, I enjoy helping clients create unforgettable holidays and sharing my personal insights to help them find the perfect getaway.
